Through Design for All we are able to guarantee the satisfaction of a wider audience with the corresponding economic opportunities for companies, firms and organisations.

Traditional design is directed to standard users, in this way it penalises 90% of the European population; in many cases, it excludes such users.
Products, ambients and systems, thanks to this inclusive strategy, are easy to use and understand for all the people who want to experience them, even autonomously.

For companies and firms

The Design for All approach doesn’t develop solutions for disability (discriminative) but solutions for everyone, including people with disabilities.  Unlike mass customization, which involves the production of various products and services for the specific needs of its customers, Design for All offers a single, broad-spectrum solution that can satisfy a larger number of customers. The result is a great reduction of economic investment (and energy savings), keeping in mind that the result is necessarily always creative and stimulating. The result is always competitive, because meeting the requirements of many people makes it easier to use and understand than the competitors.

For architecture

We were born as an architecture and engineering Studio, the topic is very important for us. Design for All has allowed us to bring attention and values in design which are complementary to more than thirty years of experience. The removal of architectural obstacles are just the foundation and a subsection of inclusive design for environments and buildings. More specifically, it has helped us to consider the architectural object as a function of perception, understanding, orientation and use of space through arrangements that allow everyone a comfortable and exciting experience. Whether they are domestic, public, for exhibition and in particular hosting facilities, such as hotels and resorts, where a wider public guarantees a greater economic advantage.

For organizations

The work we offer with non-profit organizations and associations aims to enhance the image for the social commitment and innovation that inclusive design can provide. The inclusion of the community which usually remains excluded, gives the opportunity to suggest projects with a social impact that can be funded by public and private institutions, and which consequently receive wider visibility on the territory, not to mention a considerable interest from the local and non local media. An outstanding example is the Hackability case, that we have supported from the beginning, and which had the opportunity to work in partnership with Barilla, Juventus and Toyota, and to win various public funding competitions.

For educational learning

For many years now, universities and Design schools (such as the Politecnico di Milano, the Istituto Europe del Design, the Order of Architects, etc.) have been offering us educational sessions to be introduced into their agenda. Opportunities for further study and debate on Design for All, and more generally on inclusive design. Today’s design can no longer ignores the progressive aging of the population, the specific skills or disabilities of people, whether it is related to the use of exhibition spaces, products and packaging, etc..
We are always willing to provide our knowledge and experience in the field.
